Who are we?
Training Ship Diomede is a Navy Cadet Unit based in Whangarei, proudly part of the greater New Zealand Cadet Forces (NZCF) organisation. We focus on providing youth aged 13 to 20 with military-style leadership, personal development, and adventure-based training opportunities. The NZCF blends education, adventure, and personal growth, creating well-rounded individuals ready to face the future confidently and competently. Whether you’re looking to build leadership skills, explore new interests, or prepare for a future career, our unit can help provide a solid foundation for success.

Where are we located?
We are located at 68 Riverside Drive Whangarei and parade every Wednesday Night from 1800hrs – 2030hrs (6:00pm – 08:30pm).
